The Lancaster Chapter was chartered by the Grand Chapter of Texas, the Order of the Eastern Star on January 1, 1900.  The membership almost doubled in August 1980, when the DeSoto Chapter demised and their members affiliated with the Lancaster Chapter.

Since it’s conception, the Ladies and Men of this Eastern Star Chapter have been deeply rooted in the affairs and people of the City of Lancaster and surrounding communities.
